A Night Out with the Stars

I am thrilled to share the recent experience our founder and namesake Lillie Hardy, had with the vibrant movie musical, "The Color Purple." This new adaptation of the film masterfully highlights the resilience and joy of its characters, despite the challenges they face. It's a narrative that weaves together singing, spirituality, and dance.

As part of their journey in self-discovery, sisterhood, and cultural awareness, Lillie took this opportunity to take the Stella Stars, a dedicated group of students from our partner tutoring program, to the pre-screening. This outing was part of their exploration of the Arts, providing them with enriching experiences beyond the classroom.
